Your bedside table is an important piece of furniture. You spend a lot of hours next to it and so it should be equipped to handle your needs for 8 hour stretches at a time.

Strange, interesting things pop into your head sometimes in the middle of the night and sometimes you just wake up with a brilliant idea. You need somewhere to jot down the brilliance, somewhere easily accessible and so a notebook by the side of your bed is of the utmost important. Sometimes those weird thoughts could be the answer to your dreams.
Well clearly you can’t metamorph your thoughts from your head into your notebook so you need a good pen to scribble your brilliance.
If you’re prone to getting up at night and don’t like playing Blind Man’s Bluff when you do, then you need a small tableside lamp. Also, you know when you’re reading in bed and start falling asleep and then have to get up to turn the light off, one of two things happen: you either lose that cozy sleep you were falling into or you don’t get up and then have a terrible night’s sleep because you left the lights on. Therefore get a lamp.
It’s important to stay hydrated all the time, including at night. And there aren’t too many other things you could better for your health then wake up to a tall drink of water;) so a nice jug of water and glass on your bedside table is just good business.
You see your bedside table first thing in the morning and last thing at night (unless you’re looking at the ceiling or your significant other – but you get the picture) and so you might as well benefit from it.
Choose an inspirational saying that helps you in some way like keeping you motivated to achieve your goals or helps improve your self-esteem and self-confidence. Seeing something inspirational morning and night will slowly engrave it into your brain so that it becomes a belief – once it does replace the saying with a new one! BOOM!
